At this point I figure you realize I have a borderline obsession with holidays. It just gives me a reason to smile and who doesn’t love to celebrate?! I like to put a smile on other people’s faces, so holiday’s are almost just an excuse for me. If you’re a fan of Friends, this relates to Phoebe’s “no good deed is selfless.” I get just as much satisfaction from making these crafts as those who receive them get. Probably a little more, but who’s counting.

Easter is in two days (!!!!!!), and although we have no children at home, we definitely will have an egg hunt, with a surprise basket at the end. Well, my husband will. I may get flowers if I’m lucky!

I wanted to make a little something for my co-workers, hopefully to brighten their day a bit. Although to be honest, it is Friday so hopefully they’re all already having a great day. I saw a pin on Pinterest for “Bunny Tails” that I thought was adorable (No link or I’d definitely give credit), and I thought I’d recreate them for my co-workers. Because I was going to make 30 of these, I didn’t want something too expensive. A few dollars a piece definitely adds up, and I just didn’t want to spend that much money (See? Here my co-workers probably thought I was sweet…). These Bunny Tails were the perfect option. A bag of Little Debbie (or Hostess) mini donuts were only $1.99 – and the bag said there was about 20 inside (was actually 22 in each – my husband was excited for the leftovers). Lucy, our incredibly sweet, morbidly obese cat wanted to pose for a photo with the donuts (NO, I did NOT give her donuts. Tuna/chicken/turkey/ice cream maybe. But not donuts). And now that Lucy has officially made her Rae of Sparkles debut….be prepared for more appearances. She charges with food, so we’ll see how frequently she can attend.

I created these cute little tags, printed them, put two donuts in a little ziploc bag (Michael’s has these, and they are NOT expensive) turned out so cute and my co-workers loved having a few donuts this morning.
